Click the End Session icon in the SmarterProctoring Toolbar.
2. A confirmation dialog will appear, providing the test-taker with an opportunity to
cancel in the case of a misclick.
When to end a proctoring session
A remote proctoring session should be ended after the exam has been submitted or when the test-taker needs to exit the onboarding process.
Once the onboarding process is complete and the test-taker is in the exam, ending the session will count as an attempt.
What happens after the remote proctoring session ends
After the remote proctoring session ends, the test-taker will be guided through the following:
Automatic Redirection Away from the Exam URL
Session Cache Cleared Automatically
The session cache from during the exam will be cleared, ensuring exam security.
Extension Removal Instructions
Removal of the SmarterProctoring extension is not required, but instructions will be provided the test-taker wishes to uninstall it.
