Automated proctoring allows you to take your exam on your own time, in your own environment. Follow the steps below to find and begin your exam session.

How to Start an Automated Proctoring Exam

Review the listed System Requirements before continuing.

The confirmation screen will show and ask if you would like to Start Session Now or Start Session Later. Choose the option that meets your needs. 

1. Start Session Now to begin immediately
2. Start It Later to return to the dashboard and begin later

1. Login to your online course.
2. Open the SmarterProctoring dashboard.
 
 
 
3. Locate the exam you want to take.
4. Click Choose a Proctor.
 
 
5. Choose automated proctoring. 
 
 
6. Review the listed System Requirements before continuing. 
 
 
7. The confirmation screen will show and ask if you would like to Start Session Now or Start Session Later. Choose the option that meets your needs. 
 1. Start Session Now to begin immediately
 2. Start It Later to return to the dashboard and begin later

If you choose Start Session Later, you will return to the dashboard. When you are ready to begin, Start Session will appear at the top of the quiz.
