Overview
As an instructor, you can drop into any testing session that is currently in progress. Doing so allows you to: view the live feed, review flagged behavior, and control playback speed, all without interrupting the student.
In this article, you will learn:
How to pop in to an active session
Popping in to view an active session does not interrupt the student. Live view is observation only. You'll be able to watch and review flagged behavior, but communication with the student happens through your usual channels.
How to Pop In to an Active Session
From your exam details page, locate any session showing a yellow In Progress status. This indicates the student's session is currently active.
Select the action menu for that session row and choose Watch Session Live.
A live feed of the session will open in the window. There are a few things to note:
Live Feed - when the playback bar and timer are green, you are seeing the live feed.
Flags - flagged behavior will be marked in red below the playback bar, click any flag to jump to that part in the recording to review.
Return to Live - if you are no longer watching the live stream (for instance you went back in the recording to review a flag)
Close the window when you're done. This exits the live view without affecting the student's active session.
